Väldigt skönt att läsa att Trevor Bolder börjar må bättre efter sin operation. Hoppas han tar tillvara på tiden med att skriva ny fantastisk musik.

“I’d first like to start by thanking everyone who sent me those wonderful get well soon messages. I really appreciate each and every one of them; they really helped me get through what is one of the most difficult times of my life. So thank you all again. I hope soon I will be able to thank you all in person when we meet again.

I’m now back home on the road to recovery. I have good days and not so good days, but every day I get a little stronger. I hope to be back with the Heep soon, can’t wait to be back with the band and be on stage again.

I have to go for a walk every day and try to walk a little further the next day, so I can get the strength back in my legs. I’ve started to eat more food, but have to watch what I eat, a little at a time (no red meat). I’d like to thank the band for their support, they’ve been brilliant. I’d also like to thank JJ; I know he’ll do a great job while I’m recovering. The Heep crew (I miss you all) and Martin Darvill and everyone at QEDG Management. I could not have got through the last few weeks without your help. Thank you so much.

I’d like to send a special thanks to Professor Peter Lodge, Mr Andrew Smith and all the theatre staff who operated on me, along with all the wonderful nursing staff at the Spire Leeds Hospital, who did the most amazing job to help me recover after my operation. My great friend Tunde Ashcol, for finding and arranging the best surgeons to operate on me (you’re a gem). I’d now like to thank the most important people in my life – MY FAMILY, who gave me all their love and support, you are all amazing. I love you!!!

Anyway time to go and have a rest. I’ll write again soon to let you know how I’m doing and I send my love and thanks to you all. See you all soon. Trevor”
